Thinking of you…

I received my first Unity Stamp Company June Kit of the Month yesterday and couldn’t wait to get it out of the package!!!  I love it!!!  I was hoping to be able to join in the fun with the sketch challenge and fate was on my side as the USPS delivered my kit right on time.

The Pink Elephant is challenging us to use your favorite colors… I’m loving anything with kraft, but especially blue, green, brown and kraft.  I threw a little yellow in for some contrast in the pears.

So this is my first time using Unity stamps and my first time using Copic markers.  I think I still have a lot to learn about Copics, but for my first shot, I’m completely happy!

My grandma has not been feeling well.  I’m not sure why, but this tree reminds me of her.  From the moment I saw it, I knew this was the card I wanted to make for her to let her know I’m thinking of her and hope she feels better soon.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
