Limelight Challenge #42

Are you ready for another Limelight Papercrafts sketch and product challenge!

This week we are focusing on using paint!

It is up to you on how you use paint!  There are endless possibilities… paint paper, paint chipboard, use paint chips, just go crazy!  But if you can’t work paint in, we still want you to play!  It is all about fun!

{supplies: cs- Bazzill, pp – Boyfriend (Cosmo Cricket); stamps – CTMH, ink – Colorbox; punch – Fiskars border punch, Corner Chomper, paint – Making Memories; other – Hip chipboard letters (Basic Grey), Zig Marker}

So I sort of ran out of room for the bottom of the sketch!  Ha ha.  Sometimes you start with an idea and things get out of hand!  I do love this Boyfriend paper pad by Cosmo Cricket.  It has some great guy friendly patterns.  The little airplane is cut out from one of the pattern papers.  And I really wanted to paint these Hip chipboard letters by Basic Grey.  Well, they are quite BIG!  That is ok though, I have many ideas for these guys!  But it kinda took over the card and I couldn’t squeeze in the bottom element of the sketch.

Oh well, sketches are for inspiration right?

I thought I would give you a little snap shot of my crazy mess wile I was painting.  I have had these paints for years.  Are you as shocked as I am that they weren’t dried up???  You rock Making Memories!

In order to paint the chipboard letters, I ran a strip of adhesive on some scrap paper to hold them in place and painted away.  For the dots on the paper, I took the center circle chipboard pieces from the “b” and “d”, doubled them up and stuck it to the top of my spool of thread.  Then just blotted the cardstock with my make-shift bingo dot pen!  Ha ha!  I got impatient waiting for the paint to dry so I pulled out my heat gun.  Worked like a charm.

Ready to paint???  At least it is for a card and not your walls!
