{03.21.2011} post no. 2

BIG, BIG DAY!!!
I have lots to share today… this is post no. 2!

Let’s get to the the FINAL TWIST for the Hippity Hop Twist Challenge.
Get out some thread because we are doing some HAND STITCHING!

I was really excited for this twist.

Normally, I do machine or faux stitching (which I included in this card too).  I immediately knew I wanted to use the flourish stamp from Love in Return.  Isn’t it cute with the little bit of hand stitching added in?  I stamped my image, used my paper piercer to create the holes for the embroidery floss and then I went to grab my needle… where is my needle???  ACK.  I lost my needle.  Now what to do?

I had to improvise and use the needle threader that was at the tip of my paper piercer.  Ha!  It probably took me 20 times as long to sew this without my needle.

Lisa H. is up next to continue on with the Ippity hop!!!

BUT, I have more to share!!!

Emily from Art♥from♥the♥Heart and I start our TAKE TWO week

PLUS, Lisa H. and I are blogging on the Unity blog today too!

Told you… a BIG, BIG day!!!

Thanks for hanging in till the end.

Very cute! If your paper piercer with a needle threader at one end is like mine, you can unscrew the needle threader end and find a few needles inside. I remember discovering that by accident! I think mine was made by Making Memories. Good luck!
