{3.31.2011} Assemble This! tutorial

I can’t believe March is coming to an end!

This year is flying by… it really needs to slow down.

March has been good to me and the blog. Lots of posts going on and Take Two week with Emily was fantastic.  Plus, some BIG and FUN events are in my future.  So much to be excited about and I can’t wait!

I am blogging on the Ippity blog today and will share here too. 🙂

I have a TON of birthdays coming up in April.  Nothing like waiting till the last minute eh!  This one will get me through the first birthday, but I better get stock piling. Ha.

Dots for Sure
Party Hat Wishes
Quotes a la Happy

The polka dot strip is some decorative tape I made. Isn’t it cute and fun?

All you need is some paper tape {from any drugstore first aid section}, some ink and stamps. Super easy.

I’ll show you how and share a few tips in this Assemble This! tutorial… hope you enjoy.

stamps:Dots for Sure, Party Hat Wishes, Quotes a la Happy {ippity}
patterned paper: be mine {echo park}
punches & die cuts: scallop border {fiskars}
other: twine {Twinery}, black pen, white gel pen {Uniball}, paper tape {3M}

    Lisa, these colours are so striking and I love all the ‘white’ space on this card! Thanks for the great tutorial on the paper tape. I must get some and try that.

    Thanks for the nice video. Good idea! I was just saying on a SCS thread comment that I recently cleaned out my first aide box for the first time in 13 yrs and worked it with distress ink. I have lots of paper tape in various widths as well. I will try your technique. One note … the $1 stores I’ve been in also sell paper tape. At $1 for a good size roll, I’m sure it’s probably cheaper than a drugstore. 🙂
