{4.1.2011} friends with flair

Happy Friends with Flair Day!

Just to warn you, today is April Fool’s day… don’t let anyone fool you!  Ha.

I have no tricks up my sleeve today, just some fabby stamps.

I love this Sunny Happy Skies Bella Blvd stamp set.

There is just something about this hot air balloon I can’t get enough of.  I paired it with the saying from Dutch Mustard Soup by Jillibean Soup.  This little card is based on two different challenges.  First, The Create: Blog! challenge this week was to create a grid based card.  I just got this Fine and Dandy paper by My Mind’s Eye and couldn’t wait to use it.  I am in LOVE with the teal, orange and kraft color combo.  So I created the grid using the little labels.  And then since I love this hot air balloon, I wanted to play in the In My Beautiful Balloon Challenge in the Moxie Fab World, which is, of course, to incorporate a hot air balloon.

Thanks for stopping by… check out the rest of the hoppers on the Unity blog.

stamps: Sunny Happy Skies, Dutch Mustard Soup {unity}
patterned paper: fine and dandy {My Mind’s Eye}
die cuts: labels 1 {spellbinders}
punches: clouds {mcgill}
tools: Corner Chomper

    I like how you didn’t just make squares of paper, you used a special punch. One that I also own..thanks for the idea.
