{11.5.2011} new Ippity time

Yay for NEW {ippity} Stamps

Ippity by Unity!

It is always so exciting
EVERY 5th of the month
for the NEW release!!!

Here is my card from one of the new sets.

Yep, he is TOO adorable.  Love this cute little guy.  Do you know someone who hates mushy or super cutesy cards?  I do.  Weird, right?  Well, this one is just perfect for her this Christmas.  Right up her sarcastic, funny bone alley.  Ha.

I have entered a new creative realm… Copics.  Yes, I’ve had about a handful for awhile now.  I was thinking it was enough to get by.  Oh boy was I wrong.  I finally took the plunge and more than doubled my collection recently.  How much fun are these???  I’m going to need a lot more practice, but this guy is my first Copic creation with all my new colors.  Course, I couldn’t let go of my paper piecing addition, so it is a combo.  I just love having patterned paper pieced into a stamp.

Here is a peek at the second release as well.

I am working on a card with this set right now.  Life got in the way of completion.  Anyone else run into that problem?  ha.  I’ll be able to share it soon.

Both of these Ippity sets are AVAILABLE today!!!

Ippity is ONLY available from an Ippity chick!!!
Same great stamps as Unity, but sold only by these FABULOUS chickadees.

You can read more about the new release and see the design team’s samples at the UNITY blog.

Great cards, Lisa! I love them!! Wow, good for you for taking the Copics plunge. I shudder to think of all that is involved there. I think it takes a brave heart–not mine!

Copic envy over here for sure 🙂 Congrats!
I’m loving this grumpy little penguin…I add a new penguin to my Christmas stamps every year, and I already did this year, but now I think I need another. He is too funny with that annoyed little face!

The look on that penguin’s face is priceless! Your colouring looks great – not like a beginner’s! And I love the paper piecing too. 🙂

Lisa!!! I loooooove this! And love that you dove into Copics…you would never know that you were a newbie! Your creations are always spectacular so, of course, I wouldn’t expect anything less than AWESOME from you! Great pairing of both techniques…And now you are hooked…a few markers here and there, and then you realize you almost have them all! LOL!
