{12.22.11} a very Merry Hip Hop

A very Merry Hip Hop to you!!!

If you didn’t start at the beginning of the hop, make sure you head over to the Unity blog for all the deets.  I have one last holiday card to share for Hip Hop in 2011.  I think I have mentioned my love for snowflakes.  You can imagine my giddiness with all the fabulous new snow stamps from Unity.

Have you seen the Starbucks commercial where they are flying snowflake kites?  I loved it so much, I had to create a card based on this idea. Doesn’t it look magical???  So fantastic and whimsical.  Don’t you just want to try it out for yourself?  I do.  I have a feeling this is the only way we’d get snowflakes in Phoenix.

While watching the commercial, I drew a little sketch to help me remember.  I instantly knew I wanted to use the MLS itty bitty Winter. Joy. Peace. Love.  Super pretty right?  This is my favorite snowflake stamp.  And it paired so nicely with the background snow stamp from the November 2011 KOM.

I wish you all very magical and merry Christmas!
Time to hop on over to the amazing Maren!!!!

Gorgeous, Lisa! I love the inspiration idea, and you’ve done it superbly 🙂 At least with snowflake kites you won’t have to shovel 😉

Love the snowflakes – Did you cute the big one out by hand or is it a die cut?
