I started out with this sa.weet girl.  It is a bit outside my normal style and I wasn’t sure how I was going to pull this one off.  Now, I seriously envy those who can art journal.  It is on my to do list one day.  I just need to find a little ‘me’ time to get it done.  🙂  I have seen many of these art girls and would LOVE to be able to create one.  Well, my dear friend Angie Blom has designed one we can all use!  Isn’t she sweet.

I decided to try my hand at a card and I adore the way it turned out.  I used some Copics to color her in and then I paper pieced her dress and popped up the flower.  It was already kinda looking busy (for me), so I ended up just putting the sentiment directly on top of the patterned paper.

Squeeeeeee.  I adore this one.  I think I ended up going really clean and simple to balance out the other one.  I LOVE this set.  So guy friendly and I shall be using it over and over again.  I stamped the golf card and colored it with some Copics again.  Then I trimmed it out and cut out the center with an X-acto knife.  Makes it super airy.

And a FUN sale too…

Thanks for popping in today.
It is Friends with Flair day on the Unity blog so make sure you head on over there to see what all our Unity fans have created.

the art girl…love her! the sentiment is awesome too, and I love the scalloped edge 🙂
There’s a pun with the golf cart, so *yay*! and look at that super fussy-cutting…they should have a hardcore term for that kind of detail. Uber fussy cutting? Surgical cutting?
