CAS(E) this SKETCH!

CTS is a challenge blog to inspire you to create a clean and simple card based on a fun sketch.
WOW… We are already on sketch #18!!!
Ready for this week’s sketch?

When I saw these stamps in the Unity KOM I couldn’t wait to use them.  Ahem… I finally got a chance to ink them up 8 months later.  The only problem with having too many stamps is finding time to ink them all.  haha.  I guess it isn’t really a bad problem, but I do feel bad that it can take me months to get to them.

I imagined the row of feet as the scallops in the sketch.  Then, I tried different patterned of paper for the popped up sentiment panel.  Eventually, I went with the polka dot paper.  It seemed to help keep the CAS feel.  Then I just added a few strips of patterned paper here and there.

Make sure you hop over to the CTS blog for challenge rules and a blog full of inspiration.
The design team girls are so talented and have the most fabulous cards to share.

What a wonderful card! You were right with the simple polka dots – the full focus is still on those fabulous “dancing” feet!

I did a double take to see #18 too – whoa 🙂 I love those dancing feet – and the little pops of blue & green. I find sometimes all my ideas *poof* as soon as I have the goodies in my hands…and then of course, my organizational system isn’t so much a system as a landfill…..lol 🙂

I love that stamp too and I’m like you – it takes me forever to use new stamps. It’s like I have to get used to having them around before I ink them up. 🙂
