Two-Tone Ink Blending with Foil | Unity Stamp Co Toner Card Fronts
Let’s get crazy…
I’m having tons of fun with the brand new Unity Stamp Company toner card fronts. These designs are by Unity and made into toner sheets that react with DecoFoil by ThermOweb. It is super amazing. Sure. We’ve all seen the clear toner sheets, but these are on CARDSTOCK. I’m super excited to share what I have been making with these.

I’ve created a quick video tutorial on how this card was made.
I love the gradient of color and the shine on this card. Two of my favorite mediums (Distress Ink blending and foil) come together to make for one amazing background.
The toner card fronts make this super easy. You can blend on ink before or after you apply the foil with a heat laminator. I chose to foil first and then blend on the ink after. It absolutely works either way. But I thought I could blend in the two tones of the foil better by adding the ink after. So, if I had a choice or a suggestion… foil first and then blend on the Distress ink after. If you were using Distress Oxide inks… that would be a different discussion. I feel like those would dull the shine of the foil, so you would do oxides first and then foil. But I haven’t tried that, so that is just a guess.
Check out my video for all the steps and tips for using foil and blending on ink. It’s fairly quick. No filler, just me working through the card and my process. You can absolutely do this, it really is fun and simple.
Thanks for joining me today. I hope you are inspired by today’s project. If you create something, I’d love to see it. Join us in the Unity Show & Tell Facebook group to share your card and tag me.
