Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy

I’m super excited about the new stamps released at Unity Stamp Company today. Mainly it’s about the lemons. Growing up in Arizona, we always had some type of citrus tree. And if you know what that is like, then you know when it is citrus season you are buried in oranges, grapefruit, and lemons! My parents currently have a lemon tree that produces pounds upon pounds of lemons. Because of that, they are always trying to give them away.

Roses & Lemons

The Details

I combined many stamp sets for this card and I’m loving the final combo: Roses and Lemons, Fresh Lemonade, A Faithful Letter, and In my Thoughts, Girl. I stamped out the three images and colored them with Copic markers (the color list is down below in the supply section). I fussy cut those out and then layered them up together. I love how purple, yellow, and green go so well together in this card. It is such an unexpected color combo for me. The kraft and black work so well to allow those colors to pop against the background.

The Details

I combined Fresh Lemonade, Small Details, and In my Thoughts, Girl for this quick and easy set. The two die cuts and fussy cut lemons were the “hardest” part of making this card. I added in some subtle text stamping to add a bit of interest to the background. Pretty sure I’m going to be making a whole bunch more of these.

The Details

And last we have this punch of color using Fresh Lemonade and It’s a Mug Hug stamps sets. Another really quick and easy card. I stamped that cup of lemonade and colored it with Copic markers. Then I layered up some die-cut patterned papers and a cute little sentiment. It would be a great celebratory card for any happy occasion.
