Making A Card with DIMENSION and MIXING Die Cuts

Winnie the Pooh comes to life for this birthday card when you add dimension and mix a few die cuts. Unity Stamp Company released this darling new Winnie the Pooh stamp set and I couldn’t wait to start coloring.

Make a Wish

The Details

Winnie the Pooh was stamped and colored with Copic markers. I think I have finally found my perfect color combination for Pooh with the colors I already own.

Here is the list of colors I used:
Pooh: E51, Y11, Y21, C2
Flowers, Honey Pot, and Butterfly: YG13, YG17, R05, R08, R19, RV23, RV25, RV29, V15, V17
Sky and blending: 0, B0000, C1 (accidentally used C1 instead of 0, but it worked out okay)

To add dimension: I popped up Pooh and the butterfly over a stamped and simply colored image to create a card with dimension. Pooh is also hovering outside the heart frame making him seem like he is jumping out at you.

Mixing Dies: Use a combo of dies to create a window effect. I also used two dies to create the scallop heart frame for the window.
