Celebrating 100 Years with an Easy to Foil Birthday Card

Happy 100th Birthday…

The Card

The Details

A big milestone requires a big card so this one is 5 x 7 and features a beautiful double-stitched heart cutout. It is the perfect window to hold all the lovely foiled sentiments and stamped flowers on vellum.

The “happy birthday” sentiment was foiled using the Sentiment 1 Adhesive Transfers and Gold Glitter foil. It is so easy to do; you only need a die-cut machine. No heat is required. Check out the video below to see it in action. I added the “100th” to make this card special for my Grandma. Stay tuned… more details on this to come.

I stamped Birthday Blooms on vellum and then heat embossed in white. It adds a soft look to the card without removing the gold sentiment. Last, I added whole lotta sequins because you only turn 100 once and it should be extra.
