Today’s card is all about creating a candy heart Galentine featuring new Unity Stamp Company arrivals and Distress Oxide inks on kraft. The inks layer beautifully using a fun 2 layer stencil and matching stamp set.

The Details

Distress Oxides layer just beautifully on kraft cardstock with the 2 layer heart stencil. I picked 4 springy candy colors to dab onto the card in rows. You could get fancier and mix up the pattern even more.

Distress Oxide Colors: Salvaged Patina, Peeled Paint, Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber

I used my MISTI stamp tool to make lining up the matching background stamp and stenciling easier for myself. I also grabbed a sentiment from Big Candy Hearts to turn it into a Galentine and added a few tiny hearts from Sunshine and Rainbows. Check out the video to see it all in action.
