i’m smitten with {FWF} fridays…

It is Friends with Flair {FWF} Friday at UNITY… a day full of inspiration from Unity Stampers. The list of participating Friends with Flair hoppers can be found at the Unity Blog. Just a hint… someone has a secret blinkie that could win you some awesome Unity rubber when you leave a comment on that post!!!!

{supplies: cs – DCWV, Georgia-Pacific; stamps – Dec. 2009 & Jan. 2010 (Unity); ink – Colorbox, Versafine; punches – border punch (Fiskars), scallop square (McGill); ribbon – Michaels; other – Prismacolor pencils, Sharpie pen}

I am loving the new January kit of the month by Unity.  There are so many images I can’t wait to play with.  For this card I used the awesome polka dots and little owl.  The smitten stamp is from the December kit. I’m still playing with my Prismacolor pencils and working on shading.  Sure wish I had more artistic talent.  Oh well, practice makes perfect right?

It has been awhile since I have really played in challenges and I’m back with a bang by combining three into one!!!  I used the sketch from CPS #151, The Pink Elephant Challenge #51 (to use polka dots, pink and a bow) plus the Etsy Inspired Challenge shop this week is Sweetie Pie Tutus and I used THIS item for inspiration.

Hope your weekend is super!  I think we are expecting rain, AGAIN!  So shocking for Arizona, but I love it!

    I love the pink and black combo…definitely one I need to try. And I love the stamped polka dot, it’s not a stamp I would have gravitated to but I will now. Very cute card.
