{5.7.2011} get ready for a shocker…

Happy National Scrapbook Day!!!

AND I MADE A LAYOUT!!!

*thud*

I know, shocking right!  Ha.  If you have followed me for a while you probably have noticed I have NEVER, EVER made a scrapbook page.  I’m a card maker, thru and thru.  Scrapbooking has always scared me!  ha.  IT IS SO BIG!!!

But we are celebrating NSD big time on the Unity blog!  You should definitely pop on over there!  Big day, lots of prizes – including one amazing prize – a scrapbook cookbook by the Unity design team.

And so, for my Unity peeps, I scrapbooked.  Ha.  I do love to cook, so while I was shaking in my boots making this, I LOVED that the theme was recipe based.

Heehee, I was pretty darn proud of myself when I was done.  It might have been hanging on my refrigerator for a few days before I mailed it off to Angela.  Just saying.

I used the sit.eat.enjoy itty bitty.

Isn’t it adorable!!!  I love this itty bitty!!!

In case you were wondering, the recipe is for Simple Sesame Noodles by the Pioneer Woman.  I love Top Ramen!  I am not ashamed to admit that, ok, maybe a little.  Ha.  But I realize it is not the healthiest, so I went searching for a replacement.  These are so yummy and easy.

Don’t forget to head to the Unity blog!  Lots going on!

stamps: sit.eat.enjoy {unity}
patterned paper: early bird collection {cosmo cricket},
die cuts & punches: scallop border punch {fiskars}
