Unity Thursday

IMG_1088a_dahlhouse

I have a HOLIDAY card filled post for today's Unity Thursday hop with the design team. If you have been hopping you should be arriving from Joslyn's blog, if not, all the action starts on the Unity blog.

Did you see the AMAZING deals going on this weekend??? A.MaZ.iNG!!!

***SALES START AT NOON CENTRAL… So don't start shopping until then. Watch FACEBOOK for details.***

I'm focusing on the BEAUTIFUL October kit of the month. Don't you just LOVE all the gorgeous stamps in the kit this month??? I can't wait to use each stamp in this set.

Oh Christmas Tree

I'm pretty sure this is my FAVORITE Christmas themed kit of the month EVER! And I'm so excited it is here in October. Just in time to get started on my cards for this year. Yep, I like to start early so I don't stress out or run out of time. I got together with some amazingly TALENTED crafty friends recently and I got busy with my KOM. I always get inspired working alongside my crafty friends. It is a fabulous day of fun.

IMG_1088_dahlhouse

Up first… this fun card. I have a variety of friends and some do not celebrate Christmas. I still LOVE to send them cards during the holidays and they appreciate receiving them. When I designed the wreath, I wanted to include sentiments that could be used for my non-Christmas friends. And so, this card was born. I just adore that little light bulb. It is absolutely darling. It is designed to fit inside the mason jar, but I love it used all by itself.

little-tip_leftto help line up the bulbs, I drew a pencil line that would be hidden by the popped up panel of paper. Then erased the line.

IMG_1091_dahlhouse

This is a more traditional Christmas card with a color twist. I love the addition of gray. I used Distress markers to color the wreath and berries at the same time and stamped all at once. You could also stamp it all in green and then use gems, enamel dots or Stickles to add a bit of red to the berries.

** COMMENT PRIZE **Don’t forget to leave a comment on all the participating blogs. We'll be giving away a fabulous Unity PRIZE to comments left on each of the blogs!!!

That is all from me, head on over to the amazing SHILO next!!!!

Here are the list of blogs hopping today.
