Create Your Own Watercolor Stamped Pattern Paper | Poinsettia Christmas Card Set

Today’s card is all about getting that watercolor look with just stamps, ink, and water. I’m creating 4 cards using one sheet of watercolor paper stamped with the beautiful Unity Stamp Company Painted Poinsettia stamp set. It is a great way to make lots of cards at once.

I am loving this watercolor look for any solid stamp but especially with this poinsettia for Christmas cards. I combined some watercolor stamping with regular stamping so you get a variety of colors just like watercolor. Make sure you check out the video for all the details on how you can do this too.

Multiple Cards Tip: By stamping on an 8.5″ x 11″ piece of watercolor paper, I can get 4 cards out of one piece of stamped watercolor pattern paper. You could probably get even more if you changed up the design for a smaller section of the paper.

Christmas cards need to be extra, right? I added some gold foil cardstock for both the background of my card and the sentiment so they have a touch of elegance.

Bonus Tip: Die cut your sentiment out of the center of your background panel. You’ll save some cardstock it is easily hidden behind your layers.
