Quick & Easy Notecard Set for Gift

Today’s card is all about creating this darling little notecard set. Perfect to keep on hand for any occasion or make up a bundle for Christmas gifts. They are so easy to make with the new Birth Flowers released by Unity Stamp Company for their Black Friday sale.

The Card

The Details

I love having these little 4.5″ x 4.5″ notecards on hand. They are perfect for a quick thank you, a general note to say hello, or thinking of you. You can never have enough simple cards to grab for any occasion. Since it is the holiday season as well, I’ll make up a bunch of bundles with a standard A2 envelope to throw in as gifts too. A little bundle with a small gift card will go to our mail carrier and UPS guy (they work really hard for us) and all of our favorite service providers.

Mass Production Tip: Prep all your layers first and then assemble everything at the end.

This was my process:

1. Trim an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of kraft cardstock to 8.5″ x 8.5″ and cut it in half. Score and fold to create 4.5″ x 4.5″ card bases.
2. Die cut all the layers using the Scallops & Squares dies.
3. Stamp the flowers and background stamp on the stitched rectangles using my stamping platform.
4. Tie a little bow on the small scallop square using ivory burlap string.
5. Adhere all the layers directly to the card base.
6. Pop up the last layer with the flower stamped square using foam adhesive.
