Hello Friends! Don’t peek if you are not ready for Christmas cards. But you really should because this new Velveteen Rabbit line of stamps from Unity Stamp Company is just the sweetest.

I combined two of the new stamp sets for a nostalgic holiday card with that storybook feel.

Heartfelt Holiday Wishes

Seeing the Velveteen Rabbit brings back so many childhood memories of this story. While I didn’t have a rabbit, I did have a pillow that was my worn out thing. It was a treasure for sure. I wanted to recreate that nostalgic storybook feeling in this card so went with a rustic vintage look.

I stamped and colored with pencils on kraft paper. The kraft paper easily translated into a worn book page with the beautiful background saying and ink blending. I popped that up on some lovely plaid pattern paper and added a few embellishments behind the die cut sentiment to finish things off.

Prismacolors: Dark Brown, Light Umber, Ginger Root, Cream, Tuscan Red, Crismon Red, and Cream.

This is definitely a holiday card to be treasured.
