Get a Vintage Look with Watercolor on Cardstock + Video

Have you ever tried watercoloring on cardstock? It is one of my favorite ways to color an image quickly. I’m taking it to the next level with this vintage look that includes some ink blending and layering up some stamps.

Holiday Friends

I adore every new Winnie the Pooh release from Unity Stamp Company including this sweet new holiday image. Pooh and Piglet are exchanging sweet things this Christmas.

This card begins with simple watercoloring on cardstock using Distress Inks. Once it was dry, all it needed was some ink blending and a combination of stamps for a lovely aged and vintage look.

The text background is full of Christmas lyrics and sayings. It was the perfect texture to add right over the top of the stamped friends for that storybook look.
