I’m starting a new series of Just A Minute {JAM} Session videos. These are meant to be simple ideas or techniques to spark your creativity. They don’t generally need much explanation, but seeing the creation process in action is fun. I hope you enjoy them and it inspires you to create something.

Good Friends

I love the look of colored pencils on kraft cardstock. I kept the coloring simple and didn’t even pull out the Gamsol to blend. Then I just layered everything up with the Scallops & Arches dies and some pattern paper. A bit of ink blending around all the edges adds to that vintage look.

Prismacolor Pencils:
Tigger: White, Sunburst Yellow, Goldenrod
Grass, Flowers & Sky: Apple Green, Olive Green, Jade Green, Aquamarine
Shading: French Gray 70%
