Easy to Make Christmas Tags

I’m getting into the Christmas spirit with a bunch of little tags today. The New Nice November sentiment kit was designed to work with the Make a Tag die for just this occasion. Sometimes I think ahead and plan these things out. I believe that qualifies as being a good girl so I should get something special in my stocking.

The Details

Give a chuckle this Christmas with these funny little tags. I love their sayings… especially the socks! All you need is The New Nice stamp set, Make a Tag dies, a patterned paper pad, and color pencils to make these tags happen. I did add a few simple embellishments to a few.

First, I die cut a bunch of tags out of patterned paper and kraft cardstock. Then, I stamped all my images with black ink and colored very simply with color pencils. So easy peasy.

Special Embellishment: a couple of tiny staples at the top to hold the two tags together.

Special Embellishment: This one was all about the sentiment so I made the embellishment part of the design. I die cut a heart and then stapled everything together.

Special Embellishment: A bit of jute ribbon is hidden between the two tags. The top one is popped up with foam adhesive to leave a little room for that ribbon.

Special Embellishment: the tag dies come with 2 hole reinforcers. All you need to do is use a hole punch and then line up the hole reinforcer around the hole. So cute. I die cut another little heart and hung it like a charm.
