The Card

The Details

This vintage ledger background makes this card so easy to create. I ink-blended some Distress Ink Old Paper and Vintage Photo over the stamped image to “age” it. Then added some water droplets to remove some of the ink. Once it was dry, I went to work coloring with pencils. I love the waxy texture and vibrant color of the pencils over the vintage look of the paper.

For the sentiment, I stamped and die cut the Happy Birthday from Many More Birthdays in Prickly Pear ink by Gina K. I popped that up for dimension and finished it all off with some sparkly gold sequins.
